April 17, 2024 – UPDATE: Temporary repairs have been made to the washout at km 24 on the Red Squirrel Road.  Final repairs in the near future will include the installation of a new, larger culvert.  A Road closure of 1-2 days may be required at that time.  I will advise you by way of another email update prior to this occurring.  

Please be aware that other washouts may have occurred at other locations.  Please drive with caution.

April 16, 2024 – A significant washout has occurred on the Red Squirrel Road at approximately Km 24.  It is impassable.  We are presently developing plans to repair this as soon as possible.  Timing is dependent upon the availability of culverts and a contractor, and water levels.

Further updates will be provided once a plan of action has been established.
