TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION IN THE ENERGY TRADES  – Community Webinar

Solar Training Webinar, March 8, 2021

TFN Community Infrastructure and Lands and Resources will be offering a series of community events concerning careers in Energy Trades.

Training and Certification will be offered in five areas:

1) Solar PV 2) Geothermal Energy, 3) Biomass Fuel Production, 4) Energy Controls, and 5) Power Engineering. Successful applicants will receive the cost of training, daily compensation, and expenses.

The first course offered was on Solar Installations.

This training was offered in collaboration with our partners Gezhtoojig Employment and Training Office and Dokis First Nation, from March 15, 2021 to September 24, 2021.

The twenty eight week Solar Installations course consists of two weeks of in-class training and twenty six weeks of online training.

Future webinars and training will be offered to TFN members on other Energy Career Opportunities, such as Geothermal Energy, Biomass Fuel Production, Energy Controls and Power Engineering and will be advertised in the BI Blast.
