COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic
Friday, January 28, 2022
10:00am – 2:00pm
Temagami First Nation would like to advise that we, in partnership with the Timiskaming Health Unit will be holding another Covid-19 Clinic at the Minowaabandan-gamiing Maawanjohidiwining (Lakeview Gathering Place) in the Gathering Hall.
This clinic is open to anyone, age 5 and older, in community who would like to be vaccinated.
To schedule your appointment, please call the Pandemic Safety Coordinator by Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 12:00 PM. Please advise which vaccine you’re seeking upon booking your appointment.
Phizer 5-11yrs 1st or 2nd ,
Moderna 1st ,2nd or booster,
Phizer 1st ,2nd or booster.
Rides will be available. Please bring your Health Card and Identification.
In preparation for the vaccine, talk to your health care provider to see if the Covid-19 vaccine is right for you.

January 14, 2022 @ 6pm – Temagami First Nation Infrastructure Department wishes to advise the community of Bear Island that the Ice Road will officially OPEN for light vehicle traffic on Friday, January 14th, 2022 at 6:00 pm.
Signs are posted on the ice road and indicate the allowable weight limits. The current weight limit is 3 tonnes. As the ice strengthens the weight limits will increase.
Friendly reminder that when entering and exiting the road to reduce your speed to 20km/hr and while on the road that the maximum speed is 40kms/hr. There is no parking on the ice road permitted.
Be further advised that those traveling off the marked ice roads are doing so at their own risk. TFN Vehicles are not permitted to travel off the marked ice road unless otherwise approved.

ICE ROAD NOTICE #1

Ice Road Under Construction
(NOT OFFICIALLY OPEN AT THIS TIME)
January 14, 2022 @ 11:10AM– Temagami First Nation Infrastructure Department wishes to advise that the ice road construction has begun from Dean’s beach on Bear Island to the Manitou Landing, as per our ice road policy. At this time the TFN infrastructure department advises NO VEHICLE TRAFFIC ON THE ROAD. We will provide an update at the end of the day.
