SNOWMOBILE TRAIL
STATUS UPDATE
January 8, 2024. 9:35 am– Temagami First Nation Infrastructure Department wishes to advise the community of Bear Island that there is a marked snowmobile trail on the regular boat channel from Bear Island to the Manitou Landing. This is being used at individuals OWN RISK and is to be used by light loads only. Traveling off this marked trail anywhere else on Lake Temagami is deemed unsafe at this time so please do not venture off of the marked trail if you must travel.
Once the ice conditions improve, we will advise community members on the Snowmobile Shuttle schedule. Until then please only travel when necessary and with caution.
